A few years ago, while reading the Bible, I came across a passage of scripture of Genesis chapter 6. I have a very inquisitive mind that I enjoy in searching for things "out of the box". This passage intrigued me. I began to ask leaders of the church, what Genesis 6 was all about. I was told that chapter 6 of Genesis was very controversial and to stay away from it. This only intrigued me more so. My reply to leaders was with a question. "Why would God put something in the Bible that was NOT important"?
This so began my journey with Genesis chapter 6. I asked myself, who were the sons of God in verse 2, who took the daughters of men to reproduce with. I will go into detail with this further on.
My next step, occurred about 4 years ago, while reading Matthew 24:37-41. Jesus own words were, "as in the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be". So, my question to The Father, was this, "What was going on in the days of Noah"?
Just as it was before the flood of Noah, it shall be exactly as it was then. It will be replicated again.
This is NOT uncharted territory. We can know the truth about those days of Noah. They are factual, appear in antique writings, in multiple civilizations and according to the word of God, very relevant for today. It was much more than what I was taught in Sunday school.
More to come in the next series...
